Day 1Drive/ flight to Chitwan, afternoon village walk
<p>Drive (5/6 hour drive) / flight (25 min) from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Chitwan, arriving in time for a gentle walk through a nearby Tharu village to learn about the indigenous community of the lowlands.</p>
Day 2Full-day jungle activities— Jungle walk, canoe ride, and elephant centre.
<p>A full day of activities inside and around the national park: an early jungle walk on the lookout for rhinos and deer, a canoe float down the Rapti River spotting crocodiles and birdlife, and a visit to the elephant breeding centre.</p>
