Part 2 of the Great Himalaya Trail bridges the central mountain bastions of Nepal in an exhilarating 46-day journey from Barhabise to Jomsom Hub. The route begins with the spiritual pilgrimage trail to the high sacred alpine lakes of Bhairav Kund (4,364m) and Panch Pokhari (4,060m) before embarking on a technical glaciated crossing of Tilman Pass (5,320m) into the Langtang Valley.

From Langtang, the expedition ventures into the untouched cultural sanctuary of Ruby Valley beneath Ganesh Himal, traversing warm Tamang villages and crossing Pangsang Pass (4,002m). The trail then merges into the legendary Manaslu Circuit, ascending beneath Mount Manaslu (8,163m) and conquering the formidable Larkya La (5,106m). Connecting into the Annapurna massif, trekkers visit sacred Tilicho Lake (4,919m) before surmounting Thorung La (5,416m) into the Kali Gandaki Gorge at Jomsom.
